Adapting to Vancouver’s climate has been challenging. The first days I spent here were sunny and hot; not as hot as in Mexico, but hot enough to enjoy a day at the beach. A couple of days ago, the clouds covered the sun and the cold wind started. Vancouver’s fall is like Mexico’s winter. In Vancouver it rains a lot, but it is something rare in my hometown. This has become a challenge because I catch colds easily and the humid weather makes me sick often. It is also very common to get depressed when it has been raining for days because as a foreign student, it makes me feel homesick.
